SAN DIEGO (NEWS 8) – Multiple agencies responded to a shooting in Park West near Downtown involving a San Diego County Sheriff’s Court Services deputy Friday morning.

The shooting was reported at 7:53 a.m. in the 2000 block of 2nd Avenue between Grape and Hawthorne streets, a San Diego police officer said. No deputies were injured in the incident, according to the SDSO. No information was immediately available regarding possible suspect injuries.
